The KATRON-N modem supports data transmission via GPRS and broadcasting of text messages (SMS messages).
The KATRON-N modem is an integrated module of the KATRON-SKZ control controllers and is designed to provide communication with the upper-level cathodic protection automated process control system software (SCADA) via the Internet.
The modem provides data reception/transmission via wireless communication channels of the GSM GPRS standard with support for transmission of SMS messages. Data transmission via the GSM(CSD) voice channel is not supported.
The modem form factor allows it to be used as part of KATRON-SKZ controllers of all generation.
