Purpose
The surge protection module "BARRIER KATRON-SKZ" is designed to ensure the safety of the "Katron-SKZ" controller connected to the measurement and control lines of the CP rectifiers.
Functionality and design
The module reduces high-voltage stresses induced in measuring circuits (voltage, current, potential) and controller power supply circuits by limiting the voltage to a safe level. Provides protection against symmetrical (between wires) induced stresses and guarantees the continuity of the technological process. In the event of excessive current, the emergency circuit is briefly opened with subsequent self-restoration. The barrier is installed between the harness connector and the standard connector of the Katron-SKZ controller (transit), does not require modifications and operates on the PnP principle.
